IDENTIFYING POLICIES WITH COI INCREASES
Identifying policies, Policy Owners and Agents that are impacted by COI increases takes seconds using NIC's policy filters.

From the left navigation menu, click on the Life Policies link

Using the Product filter, select one or multiple product lines (UL, TERM, IUL, VUL)

Using the Carrier filter, select the Carrier

Using the Policy Effective Date filter, select the date range
Cost of Insurance Increases
Identifying Policy Owners impacted by Cost of Insurance (COI) increases can be time-consuming and cumbersome. This time could be used for more productive activities.
NIC makes it quick and easy to identify policies and Policy Owners impacted by these changes.
CREATE LISTS OF POLICIES
Once the policies have been identified, you can create a list of all those policies.

After you have identified policies, select all policies by checking off the checkbox in the header line. (When the blue box appears make sure you click on Select all xxx policies)

Click on Add to list

Enter your list name

Click on Proceed
EXPORT YOUR LIST
Export your list and work with the policies externally.
To export a complete list into a .csv, click on the list name and then click on Download Full List
The exported .csv file will appear in your Downloads folder on your computer.
SET POLICY REMINDERS
Setting policy event reminders can help you retain important client relationships.
Policy event reminders can be set on a list of policies and an individual policy.
SETTING REMINDERS ON LISTS
Setting reminders on a list can help you manage large segments of your book easier.
From the Lists page, locate your list and click on the kebab menu under the Actions column (located at the far right), and click on Add Policy Event

Set the notification any number of days before the policy anniversary date

Enter any additional reminder text

Click Create
EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS
NIC will send you an email reminder for each policy on the list.
Emails are autogenerated by NIC and sent on days you set the notification for.
Once you receive the email, you will have to log into the NIC Distributor app to view the policies you have set the notification for.
AGENT IN APP NOTIFICATIONS
In addition to email notifications, NIC also generates In App Notifications.
You can access the in app notifications by clicking on the bell icon located on the top menu.
MANAGING THE COI INCREASES
You can leverage NIC to manage each Policy Owner impacted by the COI increases.
