IDENTIFYING UNDER-INSURED CLIENTS
Identifying Policy Owners that may be under-insured takes seconds using NIC's policy filters.

From the left navigation menu, click on the Life Policies link

Using the Product filter, select one or multiple product lines (UL, TERM, IUL, VUL..)

Using the Policy Status filter, select the status of the policy (active)

Using the Net Death Benefit Amount filter, select the range
-
Using the Policy Effective Date filter, select the date range (e.g. policies written more than 5 years ago)
Under Insured Clients
Most people move forward over time and have increased responsibility, increased dependencies and many have increased liability.
Some of these clients quickly become under-insured.
NIC makes it quick and easy to segment your in force book to identify clients that may need additional insurance
CREATE A LIST WITH PRODUCT CHANGE POLICIES
Once the impacted policies have been identified, creating and managing the list of policies is quick and easy.

After you have identified policies with product changes select all policies by checking off the checkbox in the header line. (When the blue box appears make sure you click on Select all xxx policies)

Click on Add to list

Enter your list name

Click Proceed
EXPORT YOUR LIST
Export your list and work with the policies externally.
To export a complete list into a .csv, click on the list name and then click on Download Full List
The exported .csv file will appear in your Downloads folder on your computer.
SET POLICY REMINDERS
Setting policy event reminders can help you retain important client relationships.
Policy event reminder can be set on a list of policies and on an individual policy.
SETTING REMINDERS ON LISTS
Setting reminder on a list can help you manage large segments of book easier.
From the Lists page, locate your list and click on the kebab menu under Actions column (located at the far right) and click on Add Policy Event

Set the notification any number of days before the policy anniversary date

Enter any additional reminder text

Click Create
EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS
NIC will send you an email reminder for each policy on the list.
Emails are autogenerated by NIC and sent on days you set the notification for.
Once you receive the email, you will have to log into the NIC Distributor app to view the policies you have set the notification for.
IN APP NOTIFICATIONS
In App alerts inform you about your set reminders and provides links directly to the notification details.

From the top menu bar click on the notifications icon
(the number besides the bell (the notifications icon) indicates the number of notifications waiting for your review) -
Clicking on the reminder will take you directly to the policy and the reminder you created

You can leverage NIC to manage the list of your Policy Owners.
